The Shaheed Veer Narayan Sing International Cricket Stadium is one of the best stadiums in the country located in sector 3 of Naya Raipur. This is popularly known as Chhattisgarh International Cricket Stadium and locally known as Naya Raipur International cricket Stadium.

This is ranked as the third largest cricket stadium in India and the fourth largest cricket stadium in world. Sitting capacity of this stadium is approximately 65,000 person. The stadium was inaugurated on 11th September 2008 and it hosted it’s first match in 1010.

The stadium is named after Veer Narayan Singh Binjhwar a land lord from Sonakhan who has tremendous contribution for Chhattisgarh during war of Indian Independence in the year 1957.

The construction of this project was started in the year 2006 and finished in 2008 at the cost of 145 crore. On 21 December 2010 the first international standard cricket match was played by Canada international Cricket Team and Chhattisgarh Cricket Team.
