1. Dong Valley, Andhra Pradesh (India’s Land of the Rising Sun):-
Dong Valley is located in Anjaw district, Andhra Pradesh. It is one of the most easternmost place in India. It is the point where India, China and Myanmar meet. To see the sunrise tourists climb to the top at 3 A.M. Dong experiences the first sunrise in India. It has a nickname , ‘India’s Land of the Rising Sun’.
Best time to visit:-
Dong can be visited during the summer months from April to July, but September or October is also a good time. Hike up early late at night around 2:30am so that you’re on top by 4:30am to catch the sunrise.
2. Kolukkumalai Peak ( Tamilnadu ):-
Kolukkumalai is a small village in Bodinayakamur Taluk in the Theni district of the Indian state of Tamilnadu. It is located near Munnar in Idukki district of Kerala. It’s renowned for being one of the highest tea estates in the world. The peak stands at an impressive elevation of approximately 7,130 feet above sea level. It is one of the highest points in the Western Ghats.
Best time to visit:-
It is open all around the year. But during monsoon month like August to October . The best time to visit this spot is winter and spring season and it starts from November to May.
3. Khaliya Top ( Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand ):-
The Khaliya Top trek is one of the popular treks. Khaliya Top is a snow-covered area in the kumaon Himalayas, around 12km from Munisiyari in the pithoragarh district at uttarakhand. In Khaliya Top you can see 360 degree view of Himalayan peaks in India. We can see Panchachuli peak, Rajrambha peak, Hardeol peak and Nanda kot peak and other peaks from there.
Best time to visit:-
The best time to visit Khaliya top in Pithoragarh is between April and June and from September to November. Because in these months the weather is mild and pleasant. The temperature during the day ranges from 15 to 25 degree celcius, while at night, it can drop to around 5 to 10 degree celcius.
