Egg-less Chocolate Cake Using Milkmaid(within 30 minutes)

This Egg-less chocolate cake is very simple to make with available ingredients.The cake is made with almost very basic ingredients.

This chocolate cake can be made even by a beginner without any hassles. It turns out very soft,spongy and light. I tried this recipe nearly a week ago and thought to share it.

So, note down all the ingredients,method and baking process and give it a try.

Egg-less chocolate cake


200ml of milkmaid

1cup maida

1/4 cup milk

2 tbsp cocoa powder

2 tbsp powdered sugar

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

100g butter (At room temperature)

Chopped almonds (For garnishing)


1: Take a bowl, add powdered sugar and butter and beat well.

2: Add milkmaid to the beated mixture, mix well and keep aside.

3: In another bowl, sieve all the dried ingredients (Maida, baking powder and soda, cocoa powder) and give them a good mix.

4: Now, add dry ingredient mixture to our previously prepared butter mixture and beat everything well.

(Note: Add milk to adjust the consistency of the cake batter.)

For Baking:

1: Grease the cake tin well with butter/oil and put a butter paper in the tin.

2: Pour the cake batter in the tin and place it in oven.

3: Bake it for 20 to 25 mins at 180 degree preheated oven.

4: Insert the skewer or knife to check the cake.


1: Our chocolate cake is ready, now top the cake with chopped almonds and serve it.

(Note: You can also top the cake with melted chocolate or chocolate sauce for garnishing)
