The Vantara Zoo is located in Jamnagar, a city in the state of Gujarat, India. It is a part of the Vantara Nature Park. Vantara Nature Park is known for its conservation efforts and focus on providing a natural environment for all the animals that are rescued or are naturally present there.
This animal rescue, rehabilitation, and conservation center is established by Reliance Industries and Reliance Foundation. This spreads across 3000 acres of land within the Reliance Jamnagar Refinery Complex.

About VANTARA ZOO:
Vantara Zoo is established by Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries. The name “Vantara” translates to “Star of the Forest,” reflecting its mission to be a guiding light for animal welfare and conservation.

This project was started because of the love and commitment Anant Ambani has for animals.
Here all the facilities are made in such a way that all the animals in the zoo get the world-class care with modern medical treatments and holistic healing methods.
This property was officially inaugurated on 4th March 2025 by the Indian prime minister, Narendra Modi.


The centre is home to over 2,000 animals and birds from around the world, representing 43 diverse species. They have made this property in such a manner that all the animals feel that they are in their natural habitat and surroundings. This place has more than 2100 expert staff from all over the place to give the animals the best in any way possible. Here all the equipment is the best of the best to ensure world-class treatment for every species.
