In this article, I am going to share my own experience of ‘My trip to Bangalore and Mysore’.

I visited Karnataka nearly three years ago, but the memories of that beautiful state is still fresh in my mind.

Karnataka is state, known for its rich traditions and cultures. People speak Kannada and they are very welcoming towards the tourists.

The capital Bangalore is high-tech hub known for its shopping and night life. To the south west, Mysore is home to lavish temples including Mysore Palace and beautiful gardens.

I am going to share my experience about the beautiful tourists places that I have visited during my Karnataka tour.

1. COMMERCIAL STREET, BANGALORE:

Commercial Street is one of the oldest and busiest shopping areas of the city, the street is famous for its trade in clothes, footwear, jewelry, etc. This is one of the most crowded place in the city. Commercial Street lies in the heart of the city in the Central Business District area, close to MG Road.

2. CUBBON PARK, BANGALORE:

Cubbon Park has a rich recorded history of abundant flora and fauna plantations. The landscaping in the park integrates natural rocks, trees, massive bamboos, and flower beds.

The importance of the park to the city’s environment is best stated by two urban architects. Cubbon Park museum is also situated here. Another famous attraction in Cubbon Park is Aquarium, which is the second largest Aquarium in India. Other attractions include the lotus pond, toy train, dancing fountain, etc.

3. WONDER LA, BANGALORE:

Wonder la is one of the famous amusement parks in Bangalore. This is really good place to enjoy with family and friends. It provides many water games, amazing rides, exhibition games, rain dance, etc. It is undoubtedly one of the best holiday destinations. There are two types of rides, i. kid rides ii. thrilling rides. After a feast of high thrill rides it is probably wise to fill the appetite with something yummy. Wonder la offers several multi-cuisine eateries to choose from. You will definitely enjoy there!!

4. SNOW CITY, BANGALORE:

Snow city is a theme park, situated in the heart of Bangalore. It is opened throughout the year, but the best time to visit this indoor amusement park is in summers. By playing in this snow world, you will get a chance to relax yourself from scorching season of the city. People often love to visit here to have a merry time by indulging in joyful activities like snow basket ball, snow rock climbing, rides, and fantasy snow castle-making. Visit this amazing place, in your next Bangalore trip.

5. MYSORE PALACE, MYSORE:

The Mysore Palace is a magnificent palace, located in Mysore, in the state of Karnataka. With the Chamundi Hills towards its eastern side, the spectacle of the palace is an enchanting site to behold. Needless to say, it is a second most visited historical monument by both local and foreign tourists after the Taj Mahal. Presently located inside the Old Fort, Mysore Palace is renowned for its light and sound show and vibrant Dussehra celebrations.

6. BRINDAVAN GARDENS,MYSORE:

The Brindavan Gardens is located at a distance of 21 KM away from Mysore.Built across the notable river of India,Cauvery.It has the well-synchronised fountain show with music,boating and well-manicured grass with flowerbeds are some of the top experiences of Brindavan Garden.Today Brindavan Garden is world famous for its ethereal beauty and grandeur.Best time to visit the garden is after sunset as one can view the fountain show and can enjoy the pleasant evening.

7.WAX MUSEUM,MYSORE:

With a theme of music,Melody World Wax Museum is one of the popular sightseeing places of the city. Located only 3 KM away frome Mysore Maharaja Palace.It is easily accessible too.

A heritage building of Mysore,the building of this museum is said to be more than 90 years old. It is also boasts of having the largest collection of musical instruments in Karnataka. Varied kind of musical instruments belonging to different parts of the country and ages have been displayed here.Life-size wax statues in native attires are a few of the major attractions at this museum.
